The healing activity of the Department

Investigation, care and care of peripheral arterial vascular disease, critical limb ischemia, acute limb ischemia treatment, complex treatment of venous diseases, treatment and care of antiphospholipid syndrome, inflammatory vasculopathy, and microcirculation disorders. The Department works closely with the Department of Vascular Surgery and Intervention Radiology in direct patient care, during which they consult angiological cases in the framework of a multidisciplinary council (MDT). A close care and research relationship has been launched with the Department of Metabolism at the Department of Internal Medicine in the treatment of peripheral vascular diseases with diabetes. The Department of Angiology wants to pursue the many years of clinical co-operation in which the scientific research of accelerated atherosclerosis of patients studied by the Department of Rheumatology has been carried out. In cooperation with the Neurological Clinic, the complex care system (Auguszta Vascularis Program) is further developed. Our aim is to set mononuclear cell therapy in the treatment of diabetes (TUKEB permission). In connection with the Department of Angiology, a General Electric DSA Laboratory has been established, which will allow further development of the existing functional cooperation of internal angiology, intervention radiology and vascular surgery.
